Coob Coffee Club @ Komtar Walk

Basically i know the presence of Komtar Walk just because of Station 1 Cafe. In despite of Komtar Walk had established since year 2009, still lots of people don't know where's it. Not much crowd there can be seen even weekends. Hey good news, actually Komtar Walk is one of the FREE Wifi coverage area. Just realized that when i pay a visit to Coob Coffee Club.

Coob Coffee Club is a Japanese concept cafe which owned by a Chinese. Get to know it through my friend who went 3 times in a month. Plus lots of food bloggers who commented on its good food. Finally i pay a visit in early April, it's my lovable cafe as of now. I would say it's a quiet and very relaxing site with freezing cold temperature. Spending the whole afternoon there online and reading is greatest thing ever. I miss its Japanese Mushroom Spaghetti and New York Cheese Cake a lot!!!

Sushi Kitchen @ Jalan Sungai Ara

Sushi Kitchen is a Japanese organic plant-base cafe (meatless and all vegetarian) founded in early year 2009.
However, they had stopped operation for couple of months last year and resuming business in June 2010 after received tons of good responses from patrons.

They have the passion in delivering the message of saving the mother earth and humanity.
Imagining the extraordinary climate change in recent years and the natural disaster befell on Japan, who will pledge that it will never reoccur?
Be pleased that we live in harmony with all loving cares.

Save the planet is everyone's responsibility.
3R - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle again fresh in mind =)
Have you practice on a daily basis?

Mar & April - Miraku G-Hotel Hotate Promotion !!

Miraku located at the first floor of G-hotel. Went several times there, was in love with its greentea ice-cream during my first visit there. I must say Miraku has its very authentic serving of japanese food. Their customers are mostly japanese and the waiters there are all fluent in Japanese.

The coming months March & April 2011, they will be having delicious Hotate (Scallop) promotion. This is my first time seeing that lots of scallop in front of me. Hahaha, call me sampat!!!! Used to scallop scallop scallop for western cuisine most of the time. I'm so in love of japanese food but rarely taste on japanese cuisine of "Hotate". TAO's was my first! But compared with what i tried from here, i rather pay more for the better choices.

Fresh Fruit Tea Experts 鲜茶工坊

It's a pleasure that It's Delicious had been invited to review Fresh Fruit Tea Experts.
The owner behind this franchise is Lina Creative Enterprise who bought over the concept of Fresh Fruit Tea Experts and has further implement their very own style to make it a little different from other stores.

Their business revenue are mostly generated from take away orders.

Yuan Izakaya Restaurant

The price stated above haven't practised yet.
Currently, the price for lunch & dinner are the same RM39+ (BBQ & steamboat)
* Limited 2 hours for dinner buffet (not apply for lunch buffet) *

After read the "food review invitation" by the professional food blogger cklam :) from what2see,
it's actually tempting me to go and have a try.
I'm sure many others feel the same too.

Finally i went for lunch last saturday.
Just in case to avoid fully booked, i called for reservation few days ago.

Surprisingly, the moment i stepped into the doorstep around 12.20pm.
Only three tables are reserved. Really shocked you see?
I thinked i know the reason why.

It's located beside Oldtown New World Park.

They'd a mini stone garden beside their entrance... a nice and cozy ambiance!

The area of desserts - different kind of cakes are ready here!
p/s: I still didn't have chance to taste on it, they already wrapped it on.
no further comments on the cakes.

The Menu
Makes me feel like TAO. Seriously, I would still prefer TAO if with kind of food and price.

Random of BBQ stuff

Random of steamboat stuff
For the soup, your choice of either clear soup or tomyam soup.

Tempura
Not as crunchy as i thought, too much of flour covering all up the taste.

Scallop

Unagi
Grilled it! Niceee!!

Those dishes there basically just fine for me.
Not really outstanding and don't really impressed me.
Time taken for food serving is quite slow though.

Your homemade Brew coffee?

Your choice of coffee

Your choices of juices and soft drinks.

Goshhh, i don't have any good comment on this?
hmm, a nice place for gathering maybe.
You can pay a visit and judge it yourself :)

Oh ya, the ice cream is GOOD!

Shinju Tei Japanese Restaurant, Pulau Tikus

The Cheap & Good Japanese Restaurant
Its price actually shocked me during my first visit there 2 years ago.
Never thought that japanese food can be that cheap, moreover it's less than RM10 for a set lunch with bottomless green tea.

It's not that authentic compare with other existing japanese restaurant.
Miraku G-Hotel still the best =))

My first visit 2 years back! Oh my goodness, Looks so innocent ^.^ HaHa!

We went for dinner few weeks ago. Environment wise not much changes. As i see, not as crowded as previously, the price had been increased a little. Still, it's worth of money.
Set dinner from RM15 and above. Yet its set lunch will be so much cheaper.

Chicken Teriyaki RM8 Ala Carte / RM15 Set
Deep fried chicken in teriyaki sauce

Chicken Katsu Set RM19.00
Deep fried chicken cutlet with tonkatsu sauce

Tempura Set RM18

Our bill for 4 head counts with 1o% service charge.

It's just located opposite Maybank and Public Bank.

Aji Noren 味暖簾, Prima Tanjung

After Miraku @ G Hotel, this is my next favourite japanese restaurant in Penang. The location is quite remote. You wouldn't know until you drive to behind side of Prima Tanjung which rarely people turn into.

The spaces and seats are quite limited as well. The size of restaurant is around 2 times of above photo. There's a bench outside of the restaurant for awaiting customers. We went at 8pm, took around half an hour for waiting. Anyway, worth of waiting :) Nice food, Nice environment with Reasonable price.

The set portion is big, 3 people sharing for 2 sets is enough unless you're with big stomach. XD The dinner set come with a main dish with rice (come with any dish you order), side dish (Bottom photos - Fried egg with vege, Butter fried vegetables or other choices) and fruits.

Unagi Don

Chiki Chiki Ban Ban

Tempura

Butter Dori Fish

Fried egg with different kind of vegetables

Butter fried vegetables

Should give it a try japanese lover :D
