Irrawaddy Fine Foods @ Jalan Irrawaddy

After the Little Wine Bar which gain good reputation among patrons, Irrawaddy Fine Foods is another cafe setting up by the same owner - Tommes and Louise at the same area which serves New York style breakfast.

Eliminating the hectic working hours in bustling city, Irrawaddy Fine Foods is definitely a relaxing place for breakfast, teatime or even lunch hours. Few steps walking towards the cafe entrance, I felt myself was so likely in somewhere in the West, in the foreign country where few foreigners are enjoying their breakfast, take a sip of the aroma of coffee while enjoying their leisure life. In fact, i went there for lunch :))

The simple design is way enough to create a pleasant, comfortable and yet leisure ambiance. Like it!!! Not to forgotten that the environment is too relaxing until I'd almost forgot I've to get back to my work.. Hahaha!

Sugaring Donut enough to make you mouthwatering? :P
How about New York Crust Pizza? One topping only cost RM5

Those sandwiches menu is written on the blackboard for ease of referring. You may find Irrawaddy's sandwiches are slightly similar with SUBWAY serving. But if comparing with Subway, i would definitely prefer here with fresh imported ingredients, fresh salad, rarely been seen choice of homemade bread, unique and perfect combination as a whole. BREAD: baguette, oregano bread roll, pretzel, semolina bread roll, pamersan bread roll and rye loaf.

Besides cafe, there are lots of merchandise for sale over here such as imported dry foods, canned foods and raw ingredients as well. You may consider to make your own recipe of sandwiches and pizza with all ingredients from here. Else, you may just dine in here :)

Spot some imported beers and wine on the rack!! Woohooo.... "Healthy" imported Potato Chips and Woww there are so many types of cheese in the fridge!!!

**All breads are 50% off after 5pm**

OH LA LA!!!

Before heading to upstairs to wait for my meal being served. Hehe Take a shot of them from the staircase!!!! =P

UPSTAIRS - Very simple right? But in such a small place equipped with two air-conditioner. =.= Was this sounds hilarious? or.. the owners are too diligent to us the customers :))

Scenery from the upstairs balcony

REUBEN SANDWICH RM11.50 **Must Try**
Corn beef (some kind of smoked beef), Sauerkraut
(germany's cabbages), Swiss Cheese and with Russian Dressing in Rye Loaf

My favourite Rye Loaf =)) The homemade black oat bread. Top of the bread just wipped with a layer of butter. The corn beef is so flavourful and irresistible, the Sauerkraut is delicious (better than Weissbrau), the Swiss Cheese is a perfect matcher. I'd expected my bread would turn out to be dry stuff because i don't see any dressing of mustard, sauces just as what Subway did. Surprisingly, the Russian dressing beats all =D My combination of bread is such a juicy and great one!! Reuben sandwich just made my day!!!!! I'm lovin it......

CHICKEN MAYO RM11.50
Chicken Breast with creamy Mayonaise and Mustard on Sesame Loaf

The Sesame Loaf is a slightly hard type bread. The chicken breast tastes not as rough as i imagined. Just can't figure it out what's the seeds thing wipped at the bottom on the surface of the bread. =P Again!! The dressing is awesome!!!!

P/S: TO BE FRANK, MAKE SURE YOU'VE GOT THE RIGHT PERSON TO PREPARE YOUR SANDWICHES...
My colleagues had experienced a nightmare with sucks food there.
