Hong Kong is another food heaven wanna be! :D I'm glad i was there once to hunt all my favourite food there. Hong Kong people not used to be heavy flavour like penangite, perhaps they prefer the taste of originality. NONE of the sauce available: sambal, chili sauce and chili soy sauce. Too bad most of them not able to fulfill my demand. I can't survive without chilis! =P As we learned from marketing strategy, HEY guys customer rights!! Customer is always right!! Nevertheless, it doesn't apply to Hong Kong though. They have different culture with the attitude of "YES come, NO please go!"
Kind of impressive!! They have the BEST street snacks, roasted swan, breads, egg tarts and wantan mee which we couldn't even taste in Malaysia :(
One of them is none other than Sakurashima Bakery's puff pastry EGG TART!
The reason of our hotel - Casa Hotel is quite near to this area.
Those crowds and yellowish custard egg tarts attracted us at the first sight. Seeing Aunty handed over the fresh heating egg tarts from the tray to the shelf. Hence, we decided to give it a try!!!
Felt so sweet and crunchy at the first bite, such a tasty piece!! Follow by..... soft and milky yellow custards!!! So great man!!!! =D =D Tried another few egg tarts in the couple of days at other stalls. Still Sakurashima Bakery's is the BEST!! Can you believe that everyone of us ate four SAME egg tarts in 2 days times. Yeah, that was our last 2 days in HK. Pretty crazy man i would say!! CRAZY!!!
