Never realized that there's a hidden cafe at downstairs whereby we always went there for badminton last year. The name of the cafe is really interesting 747!!! In despite of the defination 747 was an Boeing Airplane, Hokkien dialect people use to appoint 747 as “do not keep promise just as release an aeroplane" (Pang Pui Kee) Hahahaha, that's why it sounds so funny to me!! So, we were like riding in an airplane and having dinner in it. Wow, how romantic and must be very pricey? Basically, anytime we will expose to uncertainty danger and we have to buckle it up our seat belt!! Lol.... XD Oh Crapping!!
Can you imagine that they can serve all your ordering food on your table after 5minutes. Take note no early reservation made before that. HEYY, will it be too fast? I wondering how they serve the food on table in such a short period of time.
Just perfectly match with the cafe name, speed like an aeroplane? XD
6 inches Chicken Pie RM20
Supposingly this is an appetizer for us. Thought just want to give it a try before main course.
Who knows it will be that huge? Omg!!!
This portion is for 2 servings actually!!
It tastes like the Penang Hill well known Chicken Pie perhaps.
I guess they must have bake for quite sometimes. It's not enough heat!!
Spring Roll (RM4 per piece)
The spring roll pastry is so thin and crunchy!!
There are crab meat stuffed in. Basically it's more to seafood spring roll.
Salad Prawn RM28 *Recommended*
Even though there are only some beans and just a sliece of vegetable which considered as salad =.= The combination with prawn taste promising!!
Oh yea, its taste can complete with my favourite Starview's Salad Prawn.
Tang Oh Vegetables RM12
My favourite dish of the day!!! Vegetables never been my top choice in list XD This is my first :) This plate of vegetables has a distinct taste. Must be because of marjerin/butter they used to make it smells fragrance.
Braised Pig Trotter RM25
Not bad!!! My first try on the braised actually. Would prefer braised rather than roasted. The pig trotter is so tender into mouth!! Soft piece is always better than firm.
Fish fillet Ginger RM24
Well-cooked dish!!
Basically, i've none complaint about this cafe. Inversely, it gave me a good impression for my first visit. Served food fast at the first place, great food and services at second and with reasonable price.
The bill costs 5 of us RM142.50.
We ordered too much of dishes, they would have enough for 7 servings perhaps.
Still reasonable.
By the way, they will shift to Argyll Road from 4 May 2011 onwards.
